"Help The Colonel Get A Life" Eternal Kickstarter

There are no profit-earning (or cost-cancelling) systems
on this blog (covert or overt) and there never will be.

No one sponsors this blog and all the items it has
received have been from open competitions, gifts etc.

As the number of blogs, in the lists, has increased,
I have been both delighted and dismayed ( ;) ), that
so much great work is out there !!!

I am no slouch in typing/IT and I know all the tricks
of rapid copy and pasting etc etc, but, as we approached
ca. 100,000 reads, I was flagging quite a bit, at times.

I run Firefox, as my inputting browser, and Opera, as my
reading browser. I have found that Opera is the only browser,
which allows me to stack many blogs, in a vertical list,
assisting me to open, prioritise and copy from them,
in the quickest and most effective manner ... so very much
Flash etc out there :(

Yes, I do work down all 5(+) bloglists, at the recent date,
every session (except where a backlog means I have to
carry over to the next day(s)).

We carried out the poll, shown completed, below
(TY for your input  :) ) ...

It is a very rare day when I am not working, directly, on the blog,
for 6 hours and (except for Saturdays - UK time), often longer. Sure, I listen
to music, news, eat, take breaks, stretch etc, but, these are actual,
cumulative hours, spent creating the blog - timestamps should verify
that, for the curious amongst you ;). I love my blog, but more time
must be saved; I want to do more modelling !!!

So, I decided, that when we had reached 123,456 reads, I would
reassess the content/structure of the blog. This is when I created the
Popooree posts (which I think is quicker, for general readers, in any case),
leaving behind a number of 'ongoing approaches', yet, maintaining the aims
and objectives, for me, of the blog; it eased, a little.

The main problem is not the number of blogs, that is the easier part,
once I am rocking and rolling.

To be continued - possibly

  2. Relax Papa, my old friend ...

It is only going to be a whining, doddery, old, bloke, asking for donations, from his sensitive, caring and supportive readers, so that he may avoid throwing his old PC out of the window (gggrrrrrr).

    Watch this space :)
